The Role
As a Trainer for Packaging & Returns, you will be responsible for onboarding, training, and quality assurance across two key operational areas – Packaging and Returns.
In Packaging, you will ensure that employees consistently follow established standards for handling and preparing products for storage through correct use of packaging materials and adherence to defined workflows.
In Returns, you will support quality control processes related to customer returns, including both claims and non-claim cases, as well as re-description activities when discrepancies are identified.
You will perform regular quality checks, provide structured feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes, standards, and training approaches across both departments.
What You'll Do
Deliver structured onboarding and hands-on training for Packaging specialists
Train employees on correct packaging methods, material usage, and workflow requirements
Assess trainee performance, monitor progress, and provide feedback or additional coaching as needed
Conduct regular quality checks in the Returns department, including claims handling and re-description processes
Identify deviations from standards and provide clear, actionable feedback to employees
Support consistency in decision-making and execution across Returns activities
Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies, recurring errors, or unclear guidelines
Support refinement of quality standards, procedures, and training materials
Maintain and improve training documentation, including visual and video content
Collaborate with Operations and QA & Training to align on standards and improvements
What You'll Need
Experience in training, coaching, or onboarding within an operational environment
Ability to deliver structured, hands-on training and assess performance against defined standards
Strong attention to detail and consistency in applying quality criteria
Good analytical thinking and ability to identify patterns or recurring issues
Clear communication skills and confidence in providing constructive feedback
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain documentation
Quality-focused mindset with a structured, methodical approach to work
Collaborative working style and ability to work across different teams
