Trainee Test Engineer (Quality Assurance)

Role Title: Trainee Test Engineer
Experience: 0 – 1 year (in related field)
Employment Type: Contractual (one month to start, extension based on individual performance & client requirement)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Test Engineer focused on game testing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the quality assurance process and work closely with our clients to ensure high quality and smooth functionality of games across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing of game features, functionality, and performance to identify defects and ensure overall quality.
• Execute test cases and test plans according to project requirements and deadlines.
• Document and track bugs using designated bug tracking tools, providing detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and testing reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to game testing methodologies and tools.
• Adhere to quality assurance processes and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing procedures.
• Contribute to the overall improvement of the QA process by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancements.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the QA lead or management team.

Requirements:
Desired Skills:

• Strong passion for gaming and a solid understanding of game mechanics and genres.
• Good knowledge of Smartphones such as iOS and Android.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with software testing principles and methodologies.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to learn new concepts, tools, and technologies quickly

Shifts:

• Must be flexible working in night shifts / weekend shifts.
• Willing to work overtime when requested (compensated as per policy).

Interview Process:

• Communication screening round by TA
• Assessment round (Online tool)
• Operations rounds (at office)
• NHT (New Hire Training for 5 days and need to clear the certification)
• HR discussion.
• Offer release and Onboarding

All the interview rounds will be conducted from Side office of Bangalore
