What You’ll Be Doing 

As a Trainee Paraplanner, you’ll work with experienced paraplanners and financial planners to learn how great advice is built — from research and report writing to client interaction and regulatory standards. You’ll: 

Draft basic suitability reports (e.g., withdrawals, top-ups, switches, Bed & ISA). 

Learn how to conduct fund analysis and calculate relevant tax figures. 

Collect required documentation including illustrations and application forms. 

Liaise with clients and professional contacts under supervision. 

Support the implementation of advice and ensure key compliance requirements are met. 

What You’ll Bring 

We’re not looking for the finished article — we’re looking for potential, drive, and a great attitude. 

Some experience in financial services (admin, support, or customer-facing roles welcome). 

You’ve made a start on your Level 4 Diploma (at least 1–2 modules completed). 

An eagerness to build technical knowledge in pensions, investments, and tax planning. 

Clear communication skills and the ability to stay organised. 

A desire to grow within a structured, supportive training environment like the Radiant Academy. 

A team mindset and strong attention to detail.
