The Opportunity

This is your chance to be part of the City Planning & Design team, an area that is dedicated, among other things, to the planning and development of cities, seeking a balance between the social, economic and environmental dimensions, and always bringing sustainability and innovation components to all development proposals.

As part of you daily tasks, you will be exposed to strategic urban projects and multidisciplinary teams that typically include architects, engineers, urban planners, environmentalists, sociologists, economists and lawyers, which will give them access to a better understanding of urban complexity in a continuous training environment.

As a Masterplan & Urban Design Trainee at Arup, you will:

Participate in the department's tasks related to design applied to the conceptualization of projects.

Get involved in the communication and visualization of urban projects and territorial planning.

Provide support in the preparation of marketing documentation and offers.

Does this role inspire you?

We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic who is willing to develop their career in the Masterplan & Urban Design field. Ideally, you’ll bring:

To be currently studying Architecture student or design graduate.

Special interest in masterplan and urban design.

Advanced knowledge of CAD and 3D modelling (Rhino).

Fluent level of written and spoken English and Spanish skills (C1).

Interest in working on international projects and interest in sustainability and innovation.

Bonus points if you have:

Knowledge of communication and visualization of urban planning projects.

Knowledge of GIS tools.

Advanced knowledge of parametric design (Grasshopper).

Advanced knowledge of Adobe package (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).

Rendering knowledge.

Conditions

Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University

Immediate incorporation

Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship)

Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student

Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established.
