Looking to jump into an exciting hands-on, technical career working with machines? Goodfish Group might have just the thing for you! We're on the hunt for a Trainee Injection Moulding Setter at our Worcester site.
You will be supported with both internal and external training. The external training takes place at a specialist polymer training centre, leading to industry recognised qualifications. The course is a mix of theory and practical application sessions, to provide a good understanding of the injection moulding process and associated working practices. Outputs:
Carry out daily machine safety checks and report any faults
Ensure that machine start up, re-start and shut down processes are followed
Assist with tool changes including; tool preparation, cleaning, material preparation
Ensure that machines have sufficient material
Operating, control and monitoring of jobs running
Take part in fault finding and problem solving of production processes
Carry out effective housekeeping
Person Specification:
Hands on and interested in technical processes/engineering
IT skills would be an advantage
You will have a problem solving mindset and ability to communicate within a team environment
A conscientious attitude to work and willingness to learn
Energy, with an eagerness to learn, progress and develop new skills
Hours:
You will be employed to work 40 hours per week.
Our setters work variable shifts depending on demand and take a flexible approach. A typical shift would be 8 hours between 06.00 to 14.00 and 14.00 to 22.00 (rotating shifts)
