We are looking for a Trainee DevOps Engineer who wants to be part of Tieto Tech Consulting and contribute to a dynamic IT services and consulting company specializing in Oil & Gas domain. When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Trainee DevOps Engineer, you will

• Work as part of a large team to build and maintain complex solutions in the Oil and Gas domain

• Perform regular DevOps tasks under the supervision of a team lead

Who we are looking for

• Linux & Networking: Good understanding of Linux operating systems (CLI, file systems, permissions) and networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
• Scripting: Basic scripting skills for automation purposes (Bash or Python)
• Containerization: Hands-on knowledge of Docker (ability to write basic Dockerfiles and manage containers)
• Version Control: Understanding of Git (branching, commits, pull requests)
• Kubernetes: Theoretical understanding of K8s cluster architecture and basic concepts of how applications are deployed and exposed (traffic routing, load balancing)
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset, troubleshooting skills, and a high willingness to learnWill be an advantage

• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure is highly preferred)
• CI/CD & GitOps: Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and GitOps principles (familiarity with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD)
• Package Management: Familiarity with Kubernetes package managers like Helm
• IaC: Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code principles and tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Security: Basic understanding of SSDLC (Secure Software Development Life Cycle)
