Job Summary: Seeking a driven Territory Sales Rep to grow used trailer sales in Western PA through new customer development, key fleet management, proactive prospecting, and exceptional service. Ideal candidate is a self-starter with transportation industry relationships, equipment knowledge, field-heavy schedule, and performance-driven focus on profit, territory growth, and lasting partnerships.
Primary Area of Responsibility:
The role involves 50% field travel meeting regional customers and 50% dealership time coordinating deals and managing inventory.

Essential Duties:
Identify and actively prospect fleets, owner-operators, logistics companies, brokers, and truck dealerships that utilize trailers
Build a structured territory plan to expand market share and customer base
Maintain regular in-person visits with key accounts
Sell new and used dry vans, reefers and flatbeds while maintaining appropriate gross profit margins
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and quoting through closing and delivery
Track market values and competitor activity to position inventory effectively
Develop long-term partnerships with fleet managers, transportation executives, and operators
Maintain awareness of regional freight trends, fleet expansion/contraction, and trailer demand cycles
Monitor competitor pricing, equipment availability, and dealer activity
Collaborate with sales management, service, and operations to ensure efficient deal execution
Maintain accurate activity and opportunity records within CRM (Salesforce or similar platform)

Education and Experience:
3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience
Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and manage a geographic territory
Strong negotiation and deal-structuring ability
Experience in trucking, transportation, trailers, heavy equipment, or fleet sales preferred
Familiarity with trailer specifications, equipment values, and transportation markets
CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
Physical Environments:
Combination of office, field sales calls, and customer site visits
Regular travel within Western Pennsylvania
Occasional outdoor yard environment inspecting trailers
