What You’ll do:
The Mid Traffic Manager is responsible for managing the workflow of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of agency processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. The Mid-Traffic Manager will act as the central point of contact for project information and will play a key role in maintaining project timelines and budgets.
Project Initiation & Planning:
• Receive and interpret project briefs, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Develop detailed project schedules and timelines, outlining key milestones and deadlines.
• Collaborate with the resource manager to allocate appropriate resources to projects, considering skill sets and availability.
• Facilitate project kick-off meetings, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Set up project tracking systems and maintain accurate records of project progress.
Workflow Management:
• Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocks or delays.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams (creative, strategy, account management, production) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors).
• Manage revisions and approvals, ensuring all feedback is incorporated accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all project-related communications and decisions.
Resource Management:
• Track resource utilization and identify potential resource conflicts.
• Collaborate with the resource manager to adjust resource allocation as needed.
• Ensure that all team members have the necessary tools and resources to complete their tasks effectively
Reporting & Analysis:
• Generate regular project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze project performance data to identify areas for improvement in workflow efficiency.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements within the traffic department.
What You’ll need:
• 3-5 years of experience in traffic management within an advertising agency environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of agency processes and workflows.
