Job Description

Position Overview

We are currently seeking Traffic Control / Flaggers, local to Edmonton or Calgary, AB.

Job Description:

Perform traffic control and flagging activities

Follow all safety rules and regulations on work zones and flagging sites, including placing signs, barricades, traffic cones, and other warning devices

Safely control vehicular, pedestrian, and construction traffic movements within work areas

Coordinate effectively with other Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) on site

Duties may vary according to job assignment

Be available for overtime and weekend work

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification required or willing to obtain

Strong understanding of safety practices in construction/work zones

Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively

Valid Class 5 driver’s license required

Reliable means of transportation required

Required tickets: CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015
