Tickmill is looking to hire a Trading Risk Officer (CFD & ETD) to join our rapidly expanding team. 

This role plays an important part in ensuring the smooth operation of both CFD and Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) trading environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring trading activity, supporting trading infrastructure, and assisting in managing risk exposure across multiple asset classes.

What the job looks like?

Monitor trading activity across CFD and Exchange Traded Derivatives (Futures & Options) markets. 

Oversee trading systems and ensure the smooth operation of platforms such as MT4/MT5 and ETD connectivity systems. 

Monitor client trading behavior, risk exposure, and unusual trading activity. 

Support daily trading operations including trade investigation, order execution issues, and pricing anomalies. 

Liaise with liquidity providers, exchanges, and technology providers to ensure stable trading connectivity and execution. 

Assist with onboarding and configuration of new trading instruments across CFD and ETD environments. 

Work with internal teams to resolve technical issues affecting trading operations. 

Monitor trading infrastructure including bridge connectivity, exchange connections, and pricing feeds. 

Produce trading and risk reports for internal monitoring and management review. 

Assist with analysis of market events and their impact on trading activity. 

Participate in improving internal tools, automation processes, and operational workflows. 

What will you need to be able to do the job? 

Strong understanding of financial markets and trading instruments.

Previous experience in brokerage, dealing, or trading operations will be considered an advantage.

Familiarity with CFD trading platforms such as MT4 and/or MT5. 

Experience with ETD trading environments or exchange connectivity platforms (such as CQG or similar systems). 

Basic understanding of risk monitoring and exposure management. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. 

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.

It will be considered as a plus if you have: 

Experience with CQG, CAST or similar exchange connectivity systems.

Familiarity with Futures and Options markets. 

Knowledge of Python, SQL, or data analysis tools. 

Previous experience working with liquidity providers or exchange infrastructure.
