Job Description
If customers ask for you by name, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
If you’re in the trades and you’re great with customers, you already have the hardest skill to teach.
You know how to walk into a home, spot what’s wrong, explain it clearly, and earn trust.
Now you can be paid like a pro for that… without doing the install.
Who we are:
Renewal by Andersen is the start-to-finish window and patio door replacement division of Andersen, one of the most recognized window brands in North America. Our BC locations are locally owned and operated, serving communities across British Columbia.
This role is for tradespeople who want to:
Step off the tools and into a professional, high-income consulting role
Use their people skills, credibility, and problem-solving ability to guide homeowners
Become an expert in High Quality window and door solutions, inspection, and in-home presentations
Control their income through performance, not overtime hours
What you’ll do:
This is not construction work. It’s a professional in-home consultation and decision process.
You will:
Meet with homeowners who requested a consultation
Inspect existing windows and doors and identify performance issues homeowners often haven’t noticed yet (drafts, water risk, function issues, efficiency loss, safety concerns)
Ask smart discovery questions, listen hard, and uncover what really matters
Present the right solution with confidence and clarity, including total investment options and financing paths
Handle areas of concern professionally, stay in control of the conversation, and help the homeowner make a confident decision while you’re there
You’re a fit here if you’re the kind of tradesperson who:
Has presence with people, you can influence and guide decisions without being pushy
Can explain problems and solutions in a way that customers trust
Takes pride in mastery, you like learning, practicing, and becoming the expert
Is professional every time, prepared, punctual, and sharp
Takes ownership of results, you don’t blame the customer, the day, or the situation
Wants coaching, applies feedback fast, and gets better every week
Is comfortable meeting homeowners when they’re available (evenings and weekends), and driving within your territory
Not a fit if you:
Only want to work with tools and avoid customer-facing conversations
Prefer to “leave a quote” and hope they call you later
Avoid direct conversations about money, timing, or decisions
Need the same routine every day in the same place
What you get here (high level):
An Industry Leading product and homeowner experience you can be proud to represent
A proven in-home sales methodology, training, and ongoing field coaching
Company-generated opportunity, plus additional upside if you build your own opportunities
High earning potential tied directly to performance (strong first-year opportunity for the right person)
