The role

You will join the Trading team in Limassol, supporting multi-asset trading operations with a particular focus on crypto markets, alongside equities and other products.

You will closely monitor clients' trading activity, execution quality and risk controls across different market sessions, including crypto markets that operate 24/7.

What you’ll do

• Monitor clients’ trading activity, ensuring it is conducted in line with the firm’s order execution policy and internal control framework.

• Oversee internal and external order executions, with focus on crypto pricing, liquidity and volatility dynamics.

• Implement and maintain pre-trade and post-trade execution risk controls.

• Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of trading activity across all applicable asset classes, including crypto, stocks, ETFs, futures, and forex.

• Monitor pricing quality, spreads and system performance.

• Develop and produce effective KPIs to assess execution quality, liquidity, and client outcomes across asset classes.

• Identify optimisations to trading parameters and execution logic to improve performance and resilience.

• Work with internal stakeholders to define business requirements for trading and risk tools.

• Perform ongoing Best Execution monitoring and produce monthly management information to present to internal committees.

• Support post-trade surveillance, investigations, and incident reviews.

What you need to have

• 2+ years’ experience in a trading role, with exposure to crypto..

• Strong understanding of market microstructure, with practical knowledge of crypto market behaviour.

• Minimum 2:1 degree within a relevant field, with a scientific or mathematical background, e.g. Engineering, Mathematics, Economics.

• Demonstrable interest in financial markets and working knowledge of the online retail brokerage industry.

• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in SQL and Python.

• Good understanding of market practices, controls, and regulatory expectations.

• Highly numerate and comfortable working with complex datasets.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable working in a shift-based environment, including weekend crypto coverage.
