We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Trade Finance professional to manage end-to-end trade finance operations with a strong focus on EDPMS, IDPMS, export/import collections, and regulatory frameworks (RF). The role requires hands-on expertise in handling export and import transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with internal teams, banks, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of trade-related activities.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of RBI guidelines, FEMA regulations, and trade documentation, with the ability to manage operational risk while ensuring timely closure of transactions.

Key Responsibilities
Trade Operations & Execution
• Handle end-to-end export and import trade finance operations, including shipment processing, document checking, and transaction closure.
• Manage export and import collections (clean and documentary collections) in compliance with regulatory and bank requirements.
• Ensure accurate processing and monitoring of EDPMS and IDPMS entries, including timely reporting, reconciliation, and closure of outstanding transactions.
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure strict adherence to RBI, FEMA, and other regulatory frameworks (RF) governing trade finance transactions.
• Track overdue export receivables and import payables and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare and submit regulatory returns, statements, and audit-related documentation as required.
Documentation & Coordination
• Verify trade documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/airway bills, insurance documents, and shipping bills for accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with banks, customs agents, logistics partners, and internal business teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth transaction flow.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required data, explanations, and documentation.
Risk & Process Management
• Identify operational and compliance risks in trade transactions and proactively flag issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure timely follow-up on discrepancies, delays, and exceptions related to EDPMS/IDPMS and collections.
• Contribute to process improvements, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and automation initiatives within trade finance operations.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong hands-on experience in EDPMS, IDPMS, export/import collections, and trade finance operations.
• Good understanding of RBI guidelines, FEMA regulations, and regulatory frameworks (RF) related to foreign trade.
• Sound knowledge of trade documentation and international trade practices.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA/CA/ICWA preferred but not mandatory).
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in Trade Finance, Banking Operations, or Trade Services.
• Experience working with banks, financial institutions, or corporate trade finance teams is highly desirable.
