Tricon is seeking a Trade Finance Professional in Mumbai. This position reports to Export LC Senior Manager and assists on Export LC related document preparation/checking activities involved in a Trade Finance transaction.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Minimum of 3-5 years of Export Letters of Credit document checking according to UCP 600 and ISBP 745 is an absolute must

Understanding of LC SWIFT message types of ‘7’ series (MT700 / 701 / 705 / 707 / 710 / 711 / 720 / 732 / 734 / 750 / 754 / 756 / 799)

Knowledge and exposure to Letters of Credit Compliance Checks consisting of US Sanctions program , Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Boycott , Export Control Laws

Liaise with counter party & banks on discrepancy handling and resolution of discrepancies on Export Letters of Credit

CDCS Certification preferable .

Conversant with trade related commercial rules and able to provide solution or explanation in relation to UCP 600, ISBP & incoterms 2020.

Knowledge on Export LC Life Cycle e.g., LC (Letter of Credit) advising, document checking, acceptance, reimbursement claim and payment.

Familiarity with MS-Excel functions like PIVOT, VLOOKUP , FORMULA FUNCTIONS

Qualifications/Skills:

Banking Industry most preferred but the experience of above handling / dealing in above activities in Commodity Trading / Logistics companies is also acceptable

Graduate in any field with 50 % and above .
