About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and data-driven individual to join our Trade & Revenue team as a Protégé. This role plays a key support function in building data-backed commercial schemes that drive business growth across our Pharmaceutical and Vaccine portfolios in Malaysia and Singapore.
As part of a leading multinational healthcare company, this opportunity offers hands-on exposure to commercial analytics, financial tracking, and real-world business applications in a highly collaborative environment. The Protégé will work closely with cross-functional teams and gain practical experience in areas critical to commercial success.
Commercial Scheme Effectiveness & Analysis
• Support in revenue Gross-to-Net (GTN) analysis in commercial scheme execution in both MYSG Pharma and Vaccine.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of commercial schemes (rebates, discounts, incentive programs) across all trade channels.
• Assist trade team to identify trends, gaps, and areas of improvement to drive ROI of trade investments in MYSG.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize trade spend effectiveness.
• Support post-evaluation reporting and insights presentation to internal stakeholders.
Rebate & Provision Management
• Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly rebate provisions in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure proper accounting and alignment on accruals.
• Track actual vs. forecasted rebates and highlight any discrepancies or risks.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in rebate calculations based on approved schemes.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Accounting, Data Science / Statistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, with a passion for data interpretation and insights generation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a strong plus
• Fast learner with the ability to understand complex data and translate it into actionable insights
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• A self-starter who is curious, eager to learn, and solution-oriented
