A new role is being created within the Tayto Snacks marketing department for a Trade Activation Manager (TAM). 

The responsibility of the TAM will be to bring marketing initiatives to life across all sales channels including the multiples, the retail channel and e-commerce platforms. Liaising with marketing managers, commercial managers, the category and field sales teams, the TAM will champion Tayto Snacks brand campaigns with our partners in trade. They will coordinate and communicate the trade activation objectives of the Tayto Snacks business, planning and executing strategies to optimise visibility of our brands and campaigns in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. They will be a motivated, self-starter with excellent organisational and communication skills, adept at influencing colleagues across multiple departments internally and influencing customers externally. They will demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for our brands and campaigns, and instill trust with customers through consistent delivery of excellence.

 

Role specifications;

Manage all Multiples’ Shopper Marketing initiatives liaising with internal design team on the development of promotional identity and with designated third parties on the implementation of agreed plans.

Manage all retailer competitions from inception to fulfilment.

Generate insights to drive greater return in trade. Support ‘test & learn’ trials that require customer buy-in to create testimonials for broader roll-out across customer base.

Support Regional Sales Managers on trade marketing presentations for Key regional customers.

Co-ordinate and manage Trade Show activations liaising with event organisers to execute presence materials.

Devise and implement toolkit for brand presence on e-commerce sites, field sales team devices; Brand Bank (managing updates with design team); Livery for Tayto Snacks fleet.

Review and manage all POS orders across the Tayto Snacks portfolio, and across key trading periods; ensuring stock availability at all times.

Identify new POS trends and implement ‘test and learn’ activations.

Manage the equipment audit process monitoring the movement of equipment across the trade.

Review and update the Product & POS guide annually, collaborating with design team to optimise content.

Manage all trade magazine features drafting content and coordinating bookings with publishers.

Conduct post-campaign analysis for bespoke customer campaigns sharing results internally and externally making recommendations to the business and customers in a drive for continuous improvement and effectiveness.

Liaise with marketing managers to coordinate quarterly customer E-zines.

Engage cross-functionally and with ESG manager to coordinate content for communicating ESG updates to customers and throughout the Tayto Snacks business.

Key requirements of the role

5 years experience in a sales / commercial / marketing role within FMCG

A strong understanding of retail environments, shopper behaviour, and category dynamics.

Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders with ease.

A creative mindset paired with strong commercial acumen.

Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional in‑store experiences.
