Trackman leverages industry leading 3D doppler radar technology to capture the most comprehensive and accurate Ball, Player and Bat tracking data in the game. Trackman data is used for player evaluation and development by all Major League teams in the US, Japan and Korea, as well as top collegiate programs.
Trackman & the Cape Cod Baseball League are seeking 10 highly motivated and detail-oriented candidates each to be dedicated to a CCBL team. These individuals will be responsible for running the Trackman system for all games. The duties require that this role arrive at least one half-hour before first pitch and continue through the final out ensuring all game data is uploaded. This position runs from early June – August 13th with the season opener on June 13th.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and upkeep Trackman equipment required for tagging.
• Assist in conducting calibrations.
• Communicate roster changes to the Trackman Data Operations team.
• Log information for the entire game – monitoring the system and making needed changes throughout the game (i.e., substitutions, player tracking, etc.).
• Troubleshoot system issues with Trackman Support and Field Operations.
• Ensure quality of data captured (i.e., pitch calls, play calls, etc.).
• Support the Trackman data operations teams in ad-hoc data requests and evaluations.
• Develop intuitive reports for players and staff to support development.
• Collaborate with coaches and fellow analysts.
