Tot Time Preschool Substitute Teacher

NOW HIRING:  Tot Time Preschool Substitute Teacher (on-call)

JOB SUMMARY:  The Tot Time Preschool Substitute Teacher is a loving, caring, outgoing person who is responsible for co-teaching the pre-school class in the absence of one of the teachers.  The Substitute Teacher will aid the full time teacher in the planning, safety and supervision of the day-to-day activities of the preschool classroom and participants. 

LOCATION:  Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, 8125 W. 171st St., Tinley Park or Vogt Woods, 6527 W 171st St., Tinley Park

QUALIFICATIONS:  It is preferred that the qualified applicant have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development or enrolled in coursework in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.  Experience in preschool education or classroom setting is also preferred.  CPR certification is required and must be obtained within six (6) months of hire. Certification must be maintained throughout employment.

INCENTIVES:  This is a part-time, on-call position. 
The wage range for this position is $15.00–$18.75 per hour and includes complimentary membership benefits to Tinley Fitness Center, Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, White Water Canyon Water Park, and Canine Campus Dog Park. The entry-level wage for all new hires will be $15.25 per hour.
