Position: Extrusion Tooling Design Engineer – Plastics Manufacturing
Location: Kohler, Wisconsin area
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (W-2)
Work Arrangement: On-site only (no remote)
Compensation: Up to $85,000 annually, based on experience

Position Overview:
The Extrusion Tooling Design Engineer will play a key role in designing and optimizing plastic extrusion tooling for profile, co-extrusion, and tri-extrusion applications. This role offers the potential to advance into a department leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop extrusion tooling for profile, co-extrusion, and tri-extrusion applications
• Oversee tooling design, construction, modification, installation, and maintenance
• Support machinists and machine operators with setup and operation
• Adjust and fine-tune extrusion tooling to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and enhance production processes
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience designing tooling for profile, co-extrusion, and tri-extrusion
Minimum 3 years of experience with extrusion processing
In-depth knowledge of extrusion processes and troubleshooting
Strong, stable work history
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
Reside within 45 minutes of the facility
