About the Tool Room Attendant
The Tool Room Associate I is responsible for the accurate preparation, processing, and documentation of tool orders to support field operations. This role ensures tool and consumable orders are properly filled from start to finish, while maintaining compliance with company procedures and safety standards. The position requires strong process management skills, good decision-making and timely communication to management and field teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
What You'll Do:
Exhibits core competencies for the company, department, employees, and business partners
Promotes a positive safety culture by adhering to policies and procedures set.
Process and prepare Tool Orders from start to finish for delivery. Adding Shipping Ticket
Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of tools and materials
Unloading /Loading of Trucks when applicable or if assistance is requested.
Communication on request for clarifications with foreman
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Closing the facility. Last one in, Fob Out with the alarm.
What You'll Bring:
1 to 3 years of experience in warehouse experience
Experience in Tools and Consumables
High school Diploma
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of Office Suite and Tool tracking software (Volusion/ ToolWatch)
Ability to manage shifting priorities
