Job Description

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift within 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
Pay: $16–$17 / hour

About the role

We’re looking for a warm, reliable Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our daycare team. You’ll support the lead teacher in a busy toddler classroom, help create a safe, nurturing environment, and assist with daily routines and learning activities.

What you’ll do

Supervise and engage with toddlers (ages ~18 months–3) in a safe, nurturing environment

Assist the lead teacher with daily lesson plans, routines, and activities

Help with diapering/toileting, meal/snack assistance, and nap time support

Observe and document developmental progress; communicate with parents as needed

Maintain a clean, safe classroom and follow health & safety procedures

Qualifications

Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred: 2-year degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA credential

Some prior experience working in an early childhood classroom preferred

Patient, energetic, dependable, and able to work as part of a team
