The Orenda Center of Wellness, LLC is a rapidly growing behavioral healthcare organization that is looking for a motivated individual to join our psychiatric department for our expanded clinical care program.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a growing FDA approved psychiatric treatment for those with Depression and OCD that have been unsuccessfully treated with psychotropic medications and other standard treatments. The procedure is noninvasive, with no down time and done in office over several sessions. This role will be under the supervision of our licensed Psychiatrists and/or PMH-NP and receive the full spectrum of initial and then ongoing trainings related to this innovative new treatment process.
The TMS technician will work alongside administrative and medical staff to assist with the following duties:
Gathering and entry of client information into electronic medical records.
Scheduling and management of client appointment
Assisting billing team with authorizations and insurance pre-approvals
Deliver TMS treatment to our clients under guidance of onsite medical provider
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the field of behavioral healthcare and/or mental health
Ability to pass local & federal background checks along with being able to clear internal drug screening.
Calm, compassionate and caring demeanor with strong HIPAA understanding / knowledge.
Organized and processional being able to take directive and work independently
Maryland Licensure for CNA or MA (preferred)
Past experience with TMS or similar treatment styles (preferred)
CPR and first aid certified
Position Offering:
Competitive starting rate ---- Range $18 to $22 per hour
Monday through Friday work schedule - 8a/9a to 1p/2p (Up to 25 to 28 total hours per week)
1.5 Weeks - PTO per year with rollover options
