The Welder position is a vital member of the Manufacturing Team contributing to our safety culture, providing high productivity, high quality welds, flexibility in assignments, and supporting continuous improvement in the following capacities:
Responsibilities include:
Perform FCAW (Fluxcore) and Tig welds on a variety of thicknesses, sizes, and orientations of equipment
Read and interpret engineered drawings and job travelers
Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
Use basic hand tools such as tape measure, level, square, etc.
Follow established safety and quality policies, procedures, and practices
Safely use overhead crane and lifting equipment
Maintain and complete all required documentation and electronic records
Required Qualifications
Pass the GTAW vertical test, FCAW vertical test
Positive mindset with high energy and ability to self-manage
Flexible work hours (standard shift 5:00 – 3:30, M-Th. Friday and Saturday OT as required)
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Desired Experience and Skills
Knowledge of fabrication processes such as bending, punching, welding, etc…
Read tape measure
Perform mathematical calculations required for fabrication
Understand and comfortable adding and subtracting fractions and decimals
Basic tool and shop knowledge
