We are hiring a Tier 2 Windows Engineer to work onsite in Westbury, Long Island. This is a full-time position ideal for someone with strong Windows support experience who enjoys hands-on technical work and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 2 support for Windows 10/11 and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
• Troubleshoot desktop, server, and network issues
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, file/print services
• Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
• Support endpoint security tools and maintain system compliance
• Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 3 support as needed
• Document all work in a ticketing system
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in a Windows support or systems administration role
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and core networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with remote support tools and system imaging
• Strong communication, organization, and troubleshooting skills
• Must be punctual, professional, and able to work onsite daily in Westbury, NY
• 4 days (32 hours) a week of work, including evenings and weekends and occasional vacation coverage
• Reliable transportation is required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, AZ-104, MS-900)
• Experience with Hyper-V or VMware
• Familiarity with Network monitoring and remote access tools
