Position Title: Ticketing Specialist
Compensation: $14.00 to start, with increases given with skill mastery to get to $17.00/hr
Position Type: part-time, non-exempt, At-Will Employee

Position Summary:
Provides excellent customer and box office services to all patrons, artists, staff, donors, partners and visitors in a friendly and engaging manner as part of providing a high-quality theatrical experience and furnishing an excellent venue for artists.
Responsibilities
Excellent and friendly customer service—be a patron advocate.
Answer incoming calls.
Make outgoing calls.
Sell, reserve and reschedule tickets
Answer questions about all theater information—tickets, shows, policies, etc.
Work together with other Box Office Reps on assigned tasks.
Complete required training.
Use ticketing system (Tessitura), including ongoing education in Tessitura to improve patron experience both over the phone and in person.
Prepare tickets and door reports for performances.
Assist Front of House with customer service needs.
Daily data management and reporting in Tessitura as requested.
Receive shipments and take in and put out the mail daily.
Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, and other cleaning and maintenance tasks as asked.
Maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance.
Help whenever asked with multiple tasks.
Expected to work some weekends and evening hours.

Skills and Education
Passion for theater.
High school diploma required.
Associates degree is a plus!
Cheerful and friendly with a highly personable and customer service-oriented approach.
Effective telephone, computer, and organizational skills.
Collaboration, time management, problem solving, attention to detail, and multi-tasking.
Ability to interact effectively in a professional, diplomatic and mature manner with patrons, artists, staff, donors, partners and visitors at all levels, both in writing and in person.
Ability to calmly and efficiently adjust to new procedures, systems, or schedule changes.
Ability to stay composed under pressure, have a good attitude, and execute expectations keeping priorities and business needs in mind
