Threat Intelligence Analyst
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our Security Operations team. This role is ideal for an early-career cybersecurity professional looking to develop expertise in threat intelligence while working closely with the SOC, Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM), and Security Engineering teams.
In this role, you will support the identification, analysis, and tracking of cyber threats relevant to the organization. You will help transform threat data into actionable insights and assist in ensuring threats are properly evaluated, communicated, and remediated.
What you’ll do…
• Monitor and review threat intelligence alerts from internal and external sources (OSINT, vendor feeds, etc.)
• Assist in determining relevance of threats to the organization by correlating with assets, vulnerabilities, and environments
• Support SOC investigations by providing context on indicators, threat actors, and campaigns
• Work with TVM, IT, and Security Engineering teams to help validate exposure and track remediation of identified threats
• Track and document threat intelligence alerts through their lifecycle (intake → analysis → remediation → closure)
• Assist in maintaining and enriching Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) in SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms
• Conduct basic threat research on emerging vulnerabilities, campaigns, and industry trends
• Contribute to threat intelligence reports, summaries, and briefings for internal stakeholders
• Learn and apply frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and CVSS to contextualize threats
• Support development of playbooks and processes for integrating threat intelligence into SOC workflows.
Who you are?
• 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity (SOC, Threat Intelligence, or related roles)
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (networking, operating systems, common attack types)
• Familiarity with threat intelligence concepts (IOCs, threat actors, TTPs)
• Exposure to or interest in threat intelligence platforms and tools (e.g., VirusTotal, BitSight, etc.)
• Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to follow structured processes and document findings clearly
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced security environment
