We have an urgent opening for the position of Thermal Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: Full Time

Customer: Microsoft (HCL America)

Keywords: ICEPAK, Flotherm XT, Thermal Modeling/ Analysis, Electronic cooling system design

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ Years of experience in Electronic cooling system design for both active and passive systems

• Thermal modeling analysis for both active and passive systems

• Highly skilled in any of the thermal design tools such as Flotherm, or Icepak

• Electro Mechanical products

Desired Skills:

• Experience in ICEPAK, Flotherm XT, FloEFD

• Thermal testing experience

• Know-how with a common engineering CAD package Solidworks/PTC Creo

Responsibilities:

• Electronic cooling system design

• Thermal design, modeling and analysis. Perform thermal characterization studies

• Design optimization, design modifications to improve the thermal performance of the system

• Perform detailed Thermal testing to validate simulation results

• Suggest suitable design solutions (innovative/cost effective) to the problem in hand
