Therapist Training Specialist (ABA)

Job Title: Therapist Training Specialist (ABA)

Location: Remote (South Africa - US Hours - 9am-5pm EST)

Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, coordinate, and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing therapists
• Conduct training sessions on ABA principles, behavior intervention strategies, and company protocols
• Support therapists in developing clinical skills, data collection accuracy, and session management
• Monitor training progress and provide feedback, coaching, and performance support
• Ensure therapists meet competency standards and certification requirements (e.g., RBT readiness)
• Collaborate with BCBAs and clinical leadership to align training with treatment goals
• Develop and update training materials, manuals, and SOPs
• Identify skill gaps and implement targeted training initiatives
• Assist with quality assurance by reviewing session implementation and documentation
• Maintain accurate records of training completion and performance outcomes

Requirements:
• Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• RBT certification required; BCaBA or BCBA preferred
• Proven experience in training, coaching, or mentoring staff
• Strong understanding of ABA principles, data collection, and behavior intervention plans
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple trainees simultaneously
• Experience working in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid environment preferred
