Overview 
HOPE Community Services, Inc. is a leading outpatient treatment provider in south Oklahoma City.  We provide compassionate trauma-informed care to individuals whose lives have been impacted by mental health and substance use disorders. We do this by providing compassionate and evidence-based treatment, aimed at improving the quality of life for those we serve. 

We are seeking a Therapeutic Counselor to work with adults and youth in our Addiction Recovery Services Program. This position offers the opportunity to provide individual, family, and group counseling, assessments, and crisis intervention services in a supportive, mission-driven environment. 

About the Position 
As a Therapeutic Counselor in Addiction Recovery Services, you will provide clinical services tailored to individuals addressing Substance Use Disorders and co-occurring needs. Your responsibilities will include conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic services. You will also collaborate with clients to connect them with community resources, support systems, and recovery-focused solutions. 

This role requires maintaining up-to-date documentation, adhering to agency policies and funding regulations, and promoting a welcoming and recovery-oriented environment. 

About Addiction Recovery Services  

The Addiction Recovery Services Program at HOPE Community Services is dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery by providing comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders. The program focuses on individualized care, trauma-informed approaches, and integrated service delivery to address the complex needs of clients. By fostering a welcoming and recovery-oriented environment, we empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve lasting wellness.  

Requirements 

Current professional license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADC) in Oklahoma or a master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field with eligibility for licensure supervision. 

Experience working with individuals with Substance Use Disorders in a clinical setting. 

Skills 

Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills. 

Ability to provide individual, family, and group therapy in a recovery-focused, trauma-informed environment. 

Experience working collaboratively in a culturally competent and co-occurring capable setting. 

Additional Requirements 

May require First Aid, CPR, and Therapeutic Options certifications 

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and provide on-call support as needed. 

Willingness to provide services in community settings and transport clients as necessary.
