About the role

This is a new role within our team. Texture Artists play a key role in bringing our CG creatures and hard-surface models to life by creating a wide range of high-quality texture maps for use in production.

Working closely with Modelling, Look Development, and Environment teams, they help deliver photo-real assets for high-end visual effects projects.

In this role, Texture Artists will:

• Create high-quality texture maps appropriate to your skill level and meet the needs of the project.

• Collaborate with the CG Supervisor and Lead Texture/Lookdev Artists to achieve the required look for characters and hard-surface assets.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with Lookdev, Modelling, Environment, and Production teams.

• Perform quality checks on texture maps before publishing to ensure consistency and accuracy.

• Work within agreed schedules and deadlines while maintaining the highest standards.

• Keep Production and Leads informed of progress, challenges, and delivery timelines.

• Contribute to the team by sharing workflow tips, techniques, and reference materials.

• Stay current with new tools, software, and emerging technology relevant to the discipline.
