Role -Testing Planning Lead (Client Testing)
Role Summary
Lead the planning and orchestration of client testing for T+1 change delivery, ensuring readiness across business, operations, technology, and external client stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
• Own the end-to-end client testing approach, including scope, entry and exit criteria, environments, test cycles, defect governance, and readiness checkpoints.
• Coordinate test planning across custody, settlements, asset servicing, transaction management, and client-servicing teams to ensure full business coverage.
• Develop detailed test plans, scenario inventories, execution schedules, and communication packs for internal stakeholders and client participants.
• Manage execution oversight for SIT, UAT, dress rehearsals, and client proving activities, including issue triage and daily reporting.
• Create and execute test cases, scenarios, and test data, including defect logging and retesting
• Track dependencies linked to market cut-offs, client funding windows, FX impacts, and operational exception handling during testing.
• Provide leadership across stakeholders, escalating risks and driving resolution of blockers that could affect client readiness or implementation timelines.
• Support training, operational playbooks, and Day 1 / Day 2 readiness activities aligned to the testing outcome.
What We’re Looking For
• Prior Experience in securities services, post-trade operations, or capital markets change delivery.
• Strong experience in test planning and governance, with hands-on exposure to client testing, UAT, and multi-workstream coordination.
• Awareness of custody, settlements, transaction management, and asset servicing processes in a T+1 or similar change context.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders, produce concise governance materials, and drive structured execution in fast-paced programmes.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills, with attention to detail across scenarios, defects, and operational impacts.
Bonus Points For
• Experience supporting T+1 / T+0 readiness, market infrastructure change, or large-scale regulatory implementation.
• Exposure to client migration, client proving, or external market participant testing programmes.
• Consulting experience in complex transformation environments.
Programme context: All roles sit within a T+1 change environment spanning securities services business analysis, operational readiness, and testing, with close dependency on custody, settlements, asset servicing, transaction management, FX, liquidity, and client funding considerations.
