The Testing Consultant will support the planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities for a core banking system implementation. The role focuses on assisting in test execution, defect management, and coordination between stakeholders and vendors to ensure system quality and readiness.

The consultant will work closely with testing leads, business users, IT teams, and vendors to contribute to successful delivery across all testing phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in testing management, quality assurance, or related roles

• Hands-on experience supporting testing activities in large-scale system implementations

• Experience in managing testing for core banking systems

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in ERP system testing is considered a strong plus

Other Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field

• Strong coordination and communication skills

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a structured project environment

• Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of testing activities across SIT, UAT, and regression testing phases

• Assist in preparing and reviewing test scenarios, test cases, and test data

• Coordinate with business users and stakeholders during test execution cycles

• Log, track, and follow up on defects to ensure timely resolution

• Support test environment setup and ensure readiness for testing activities

• Monitor testing progress and escalate issues or risks when needed

• Collaborate with vendors to ensure alignment on test execution and defect resolution

• Contribute to test documentation, status reporting, and quality tracking

• Support go-live readiness activities and post-implementation validation
