The Role
We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic Post Feature Delivery Test Support Engineer to join us on a maternity leave cover contract. The successful candidate will be committed to their work and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly flexible environment. You will be responsible for delivering excellent technical and test support as part of our Level 2 team. This role reports to the Post Feature Delivery Lead and is based in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support customers during online test sessions and offline ticket support
• Coordinate with support and development teams to resolve application and system issues
• Design and maintain expertise in the flow of application process and systems related to the company
• Administer and resolve application issues, provide updates, and perform root cause analysis
• Maintain good professional relationships with counterparts in engineering and customer support departments
• Organize and implement projects ranging from small to medium size and assist with all processes under the guidance of Software Engineers
• Perform root cause assessment and debug all issues on server domains, ensuring application availability
• Coordinate with UAT department to assist in releases and deployments to various environments and production outputs
• Provide support, identify issues, and prepare appropriate documentation of all issues and solutions
• Recommend ways to optimize performance, provide solutions to problems, and prepare reports for all problems
• Identify and provide resolutions ranging in complexity from medium to high
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
• Experience supporting customers in the test phase and/or test experience
• Knowledge and experience administering or using Microsoft IIS
• Knowledge of database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server) and working fluency in SQL
• Ability to diagnose and address application issues
• Working knowledge of IT hardware and software
• Ability to learn and master employer-specific software
• Complex problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-focused with strong reporting skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn technical information, processes, and applications quickly
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask within a fast-growing organization
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and demonstrated flexibility
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure)
• Experience using tools like Postman to create and save simple and complex HTTP/s requests
• Degree-level qualification in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Basic knowledge of programming concepts, preferably C#
• Experience in building effective relationships with development teams and clients
