The Test Centre (TCE) supports testing projects across the company, ensuring the full testing cycle: strategy, planning, execution and closure, mainly within the Savings and Protection areas.
Main Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of test projects, including budget, planning, quality, and timelines.
• Coordinate the full test lifecycle: scoping, test design, execution, and closure.
• Organize workshops, define test strategies, and ensure complete and compliant documentation.
• Identify risks, resource needs, and follow up on project deliverables.
• Lead and support test teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Produce reports, monitor defects, and support Go/No-Go decisions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and testing practices.
Key Tasks
• Define the required test levels and types for each project.
• Monitor planning, budgets, test results, and defects.
• Ensure user participation and compliance with applicable standards.
• Prepare final reports, improvement analysis, and update reference documentation.
• Provide methodological support and manage teams across projects.
• Degree in IT or a related field.
• Knowledge of project methodologies and ISTQB principles.
• Experience testing life insurance or banking applications (preferred).
Languages
• English and French – essential.
Essential:
• 10+ years of testing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in an Agile environment.
• Ability to manage test automation activities within a CI/CD environment.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, organization, and leadership skills.
Desirable:
• 12+ years of experience.
• Strong customer focus and quality orientation.
• Good stress and conflict management abilities.
• Strong learning, prioritization, and adaptability skills.
The candidate is expected to work in a Hybrid model, 50/50 frame work.
• Availability to travel within and outside Portugal.
• Availability to work outside normal office hours in exceptional circumstances.
