About the Technology Consulting

We have a strong consulting team working on a complex transformation projects in Czech Republic and the CEE region as well as on projects in the Western Europe in cooperation with our colleagues there.  

To further expand our team and our capabilities we agreed with our German colleagues to build a German speaking consulting team in Prague. The team will become embedded part of the broad German Financial Services consulting team.  

About your manager

Petr Chadima leads our Technology consulting team for financial services. He spent most of his professional life on large-scale transformation projects for both Czech and foreign clients. And the main reason he still enjoys his job, he says, is because he works with the best people he could ever imagine. And also, he is supported by a wonderful family who, when he needs to relax, let him make completely unnecessary things out of wood.

Job description & summary 

As a Test Manager in Consulting for German projects at PwC, your responsibilites will be:

• Creation of test strategy and concepts  

• Detailed planning and steering of test activities  

• Managing reporting and escalation of test-related risks and dependencies  

• Prioritization and coordination of test case creation and execution  

• Ensuring continuous improvement of the test process  

• Responsibility for setting up and moderating status meetings and test teams  

Requirements of the role

• 3+ years of experience as a Test Manager in large-scale projects within an ITIL environment  

• Knowledge of banking and insurance domains  

• Strong skills in managing external and internal stakeholders  

• ISTQB Certified Tester at Expert level (or equivalent)  

• Experience with test tools such as Azure Test Plans, Micro Focus ALM, Jira Xray, Selenium, UiPath, SoapUI, Jira, and Confluence  

• Ability to apply test automation, e.g., for UI browser-based testing (Selenium), or using SAP Solution Manager, Azure DevOps, or Micro Focus ALM  

• Proficiency in German at the C1 level for active communication with colleagues and clients in German-speaking countries  

• Fluency in English; knowledge of Czech or Slovak is a plus
