Test Expert

Arηs Group, Part of Accenture, specializes in the management of complex public sector IT projects, including systems integration, informatics and analytics, solution implementation and program management. Our team helps lead clients through digital and information systems design, bringing expertise in a variety of areas ranging from software development, data science and security management to machine learning, cloud, and mobile development. Arηs Group was acquired by Accenture in July 2024. 

We are currently looking for a Test Specialist to join our growing team in one of the biggest European organizations.

Tasks:

• Develops test plan, test cases and designs testing environment
• Implements, executes and debugs application test cases and scripts
• Validate and document completion of testing and Development
• Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues
• Analyses functional and technical system design for testability
• Contributes to quality assurance in the project
• Documents tests and tracks defects
• Monitors test results, Analyses quality of the system and reports on status and trends
• Cooperates with analysis, architects, Software Development and service desk teams

Knowledge and skills:

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 minimum of  years of relevant professional experience in a similar position
• Minimum 4 years of project experience relevant to the profile
• or at a similar position
• Presents excellent command of English, at least at B2 level
• Extensive expertise in software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
• Proven proficiency in designing, configuring, and maintaining robust test environments.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience testing complex systems, aligned with the minimum years of experience required for comparable roles.
• Experience in establishing and configuring test management tools for new projects.
• Strong background in producing comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Proven leadership experience in managing and coordinating testing activities within complex projects.
• Practical, hands-on knowledge of industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience utilising Azure DevOps Test Plans for test management and execution.
• Hands-on experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and testing support.
• Domain experience testing applications related to border protection, surveillance, or national security environments.
• Highly analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to rapidly understand complex systems and requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured documentation and reporting artifacts.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.

Specific Requirements:

At least 1 certification among:

• ISTQB Advanced
• or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a validcredential by the Contracting Authority)
• or 3 years’ experience in test design above required Minimum experience at similar position
