Test Automation Specialist

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Test Automation Specialist to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Design, preparation and monitoring of automated tests.
• Contribution to the development of a plan to integrate automated testing within the testing process.
• Evaluation of the tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach.
• Creation of an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture.
• Design and development (new or modified) of test automation solutions that meet the business needs and apply continuous integration technologies, especially targeting backend/web service-based interfaces.
• Enabling the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach.
• Creation of automated test reporting and metrics collection.
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.

Requirements:
What will you be bringing to the team?

• Bachelor degree in IT and years 11 of experience in IT.
• At least 1 year of specific expertise in Java.
• At least 1 year of specific expertise in Web Services.
• Good knowledge of test automation technologies, tools and techniques.
• Experience in the creation of test automation solutions involving own programming.
• Good knowledge of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools.
• Experience in the test data management.
• Experience with scripting and programming: Java, Groovy.
• Experience working with SQL and database servers.
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture.
• Knowledge of Relational DBMS.
• Experience using continuous integration techniques and tools: Bamboo, Git.
• Experience using testing tools: SoapUI, Postman, Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience working with containerisation tools: Docker.
• Familiarity with interoperability technology (e.g., web services, message-oriented middleware).
• Fluent in English at least at a level B1.
