Test Automation Specialist

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Test Automation Specialist to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Definition of test plans and test cases.
• Construction of test scenarios and scripts.
• Design, prepare and monitor automated tests.
• Contribute to the development of a plan to integrate automated testing within the testing process.
• Evaluate tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach.
• Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture.
• Design and develop (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet the business needs.
• Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach.
• Create automated test reporting and metrics collection.
• Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers.

Requirements:
What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Master’s degree in IT with minimum 11 years of professional experience (or Bachelor’s degree with minimum 15 years of experience).
• At least 3 years of experience with SELENIUM and/or CYPRESS testing frameworks and tools.
• Certification of ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer would be an asset.
• Knowledge of test automation technologies, tools and techniques.
• Hands-on experience in the creation of test automation solutions.
• Knowledge of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools.
• Experience in the test data management.
• Ability to give business and technical presentations.
• Hands-on experience in the manual Testing.
• Analysis and problem solving skills.
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
• Ability to participate in technical meetings.
• Advanced English (B2) communication skills (written and spoken) and French skills (B2) will be considered an asset.
