We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation QA Engineer with a passion for automation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, a strong understanding of test automation frameworks, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment. This role requires an individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the drive to continuously improve testing processes.
This is a remote role with the flexibility to work from home; however, the candidate should be open to attending in-office meetings 2–3 times a month at either our Norte or Este office locations.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify, document, and track defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, design test strategies, and integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on various software applications.
• Utilize tools like Playwright for UI test automation and contribute to the expansion of test automation coverage.
• Leverage SQL databases, with Snowflake experience as a plus, to validate data integrity and perform backend testing.
• Ensure alignment with best practices for software testing and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report on testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks, with experience in Playwright as a strong asset.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with database testing (knowledge of Snowflake is a plus).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into the deployment process.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English (minimum B2 level; C1 preferred).
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Snowflake for backend testing.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
