Job Description

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a vital role in improving software quality, efficiency, and reliability through test automation. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks for UI, API, and system integration testing.

This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented test automation specialist with 2–10 years of experience, looking to advance their expertise in test automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile testing methodologies.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute automated and manual test cases to ensure software meets quality standards.

· Maintain and improve test automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.

· Implement exploratory testing techniques to enhance test coverage.

· Support manual testing efforts while progressively increasing automation coverage.

· Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.

· Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define and maintain test scenarios and scripts.

· Work with functional testing (system integration testing, user acceptance testing, API testing).

· Identify and troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and automation script failures.

· Ensure automation scripts follow best practices, maintainability, and scalability principles.

· Document test automation processes and contribute to test strategy improvements.
