We’re supporting a specialist insurance client on an urgent requirement for an experienced Test Analyst with strong reinsurance knowledge. This role will focus on testing a front-end GUI platform being rolled out to market syndicates, forming part of a long-running strategic programme now approaching delivery.
This is a niche requirement combining testing expertise with reinsurance domain knowledge, supporting both final delivery and potential follow-on enhancements.
Urgent requirement with immediate start preferred
Responsibilities
• Lead and execute testing of a front-end GUI platform
• Design and run test cases aligned to business and technical requirements
• Work closely with business stakeholders across reinsurance and finance
• Support UAT and ensure alignment with syndicate-facing functionality
• Identify defects, manage resolution, and ensure quality standards are met
• Contribute to final delivery of a multi-year programme
• Support potential enhancements around regulatory reporting and data outputs
Requirements:
• Strong experience as a Test Analyst / QA within insurance or reinsurance
• Solid understanding of reinsurance processes and London Market dynamics
• Experience testing front-end / GUI-based platforms
• Ability to engage with business users and translate requirements into test scenarios
Desirable
• Exposure to Lloyd’s reporting (e.g. 710 reports)
• Understanding of LORS codes and data breakdown requirements
• Any exposure to actuarial or UX considerations (light touch)
