Summary:

The Tesla Collision Repair Technician specializes in repairing Tesla vehicles using manufacturer-approved methods and technology. This role requires knowledge of electric vehicle (EV) structures and repair techniques or a willingness to undergo training.

Primary Objectives of the Role:

• Conduct structural and non-structural repairs on Tesla vehicles using factory-approved procedures.
• Work with aluminum body panels and high-voltage components following safety guidelines.
• Use specialized Tesla diagnostic and repair tools.
• Ensure all repairs meet Tesla’s stringent quality standards.
• Perform diagnostic scans and recalibrations as needed for Tesla vehicles.
• Repair or replace damaged electrical and mechanical components in EVs.
• Work with advanced Tesla materials, including carbon fiber and aluminum.
• Collaborate with Tesla-certified professionals to stay updated on repair standards.
• Complete Tesla-specific training and certifications as required.
• Document repair work accurately in shop management software.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety regulations.

Requirements:
Job Related Functional Technical Knowledge:

• Experience with aluminum welding and EV repair techniques (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with Tesla repair standards or willingness to undergo Tesla training.
• Knowledge of OEM repair methods and modern vehicle construction.
• Ability to use Tesla-specific software and diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications, Experience and Other Requirements:

• Red Seal Certification in Collision Repair preferred, but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in collision repair (Tesla experience is a plus).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to complete Tesla-specific training and certification.
