About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to own growth across Metro Adelaide. This autonomous sales role combines strategic account development, new business acquisition and strong operational support from our branches. You’ll target revenue and margin growth by developing long-term customer relationships and promoting Rexel’s multi-access model (branch, webstore, phone, email).
A bit about your role
• Own business development for Metro Adelaide: identify opportunities, target prospects and convert them into long-term customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, branch teams and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare tailored sales proposals and presentations that demonstrate commercial value and margin uplift.
• Promote Rexel’s multi-access channels (branch, webstore, phone, email) to drive customer adoption and loyalty.
• Use CRM as the single source of truth for customer activity, forecasting and pipeline management.
• Deliver sales targets and margin improvement goals, with a focus on sustainable, profitable growth.
A bit about you
• Proven high-performing sales professional with a results-driven mindset and strong commercial acumen.
• Experience in electrical wholesaling, trade, building or construction is highly regarded.
• Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
• Energetic, resilient and self-motivated, with strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Clean, full driver’s licence and ability to travel across Metro Adelaide.
