Looking for a sales role that’s anything but boring? Rentokil Initial is hunting for a Hygiene Territory Manager to tackle Christchurch's Hygiene market head-on. If you’re passionate, persistent, and keen to join a top-performing crew. 2026 is set to be our biggest year yet, are you ready to join us?
This role runs Monday to Friday during normal business hours, but your desk is wherever your car takes you! Most days you’ll be face-to-face with clients old and new, hunting for fresh opportunities. You get to manage your day your way, and we’ll equip you with everything you need to succeed to hit the ground running!
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop rock-solid business relationships with Christchurch clients and keep them coming back
• Be the first to share new products, services, and market intel that help customers stay ahead
• Keep your finger on the pulse, understand what your customers need today and tomorrow
• Proactively find chances to deliver solution-focused services that hit the mark
• Manage your key accounts like a pro and build lasting partnerships
• Review customer contracts to spot upsell and growth opportunities
• Scout and secure new business to grow your territory portfolio
• Stay organised and on top of things by keeping the inhouse CRM up-to-date
• Use your cross-selling skills to introduce our Hygiene and Ambius brands
A successful Candidate will have:
• Proven success in B2B direct sales, you know how to close the deal
• Experienced in managing accounts and growing relationships
• Communication skills that get people excited (written and verbal)
• Full, clean NZ Driver’s License and a squeaky-clean criminal record
• Results-driven – when a door closes, you find the window
• Ability to spot gaps and create smart solutions
• Skilled at building your own call cycle and owning your day
• Comfortable with Google Suite and in-house CRM systems
• Master of time management – always one step ahead
• Track record of exceeding sales targets
• Business savvy with the power to influence and build strong connections
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems fast
