What You’ll Do:
Manage a cost/time effective call cycle within a specific designated geographic area
Perform ongoing analysis of all customers sales performance and present business reviews to major accounts
Maximize product availability within the existing client base by presenting and placing applicable products with all customers.
Analyze competitive pricing architecture and activity
Cold calling and solicitation of new business opportunities on an ongoing basis
Cyclical planning and co-ordination of in-store features and promotional activities to achieve sales growth
Communicate promotional volume estimates, forecasts and all information pertinent to sales manager and other related departments such as customer service and distribution
Responsible for the placement and maintenance of point of sale material
Timely submission of call visits, expense and other reports as requested
Evaluate customer viability and assist with collection of out-standing balances
Professional approach to effective customer conflict resolution
Attendance and participation in trade shows and special events
What You Need to Get the Job Done:
Preference give to a University education with a focus on business/marketing
Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in the CPG industry calling on grocery, C-trade, foodservice and institutional accounts
Work well alone and with our team and/or other business partner teams to effectively build the brand through events, promotions and unique marketing opportunities.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, and a high comfort level for learning new technological platforms
The ideal candidate would reside in Vaughan or Woodbridge area.
