As we continue to expand globally, strategic territory planning is essential to protecting franchisee success and ensuring sustainable, long-term growth. We are seeking a Territory Division Specialist to play a key role in shaping how Gracie Barra franchise territories are designed, managed, and scaled worldwide.
The Territory Division Specialist is responsible for analyzing, defining, and optimizing franchise territories across assigned regions. This role ensures territories are fair, data-driven, scalable, and aligned with Gracie Barra’s expansion strategy, while protecting franchisee investment and brand integrity.
You will work cross-functionally with Franchise Development, Legal, Operations, and Leadership, contributing directly to expansion decisions that impact the future of the global Gracie Barra network.
Key Responsibilities
Territory Planning & Analysis
Design and evaluate franchise territories using demographic, geographic, and market data
Define territory boundaries based on population density, market demand, school density, and growth potential
Maintain accurate territory maps, documentation, and historical records
Franchise Expansion Support
Provide territory analysis for new franchise prospects and existing franchisees
Support market entry, regional expansion, and territory restructuring initiatives
Collaborate with Franchise Development on approval-ready territory recommendations
Data & Reporting
Analyze market saturation, competitive presence, and expansion readiness
Track territory performance indicators and growth opportunities
Prepare reports and insights for leadership and expansion teams
Collaboration & Governance
Work with Legal to ensure territory definitions align with franchise agreements
Partner with Operations to ensure expansion aligns with support capacity
Communicate territory-related decisions clearly and professionally across teams
Conflict Prevention
Identify potential territory overlaps or conflicts proactively
Support leadership with objective data and recommendations
Maintain professionalism, neutrality, and consistency in all territory matters
Potential Growth & Advanced Responsibilities
Depending on experience and organizational needs, this role may potentially include:
Leading complex territory redesign projects in mature or highly saturated markets
Supporting international market entry and country-level territory frameworks
Contributing to territory policies, standards, and best practices
Participating in long-term, executive-level expansion planning
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
Experience with franchise systems, territories, real estate, expansion planning, or multi-unit businesses (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret demographic, geographic, and market data
Excellent organization and attention to detail
