Terminal Operator/ Cover Handler

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Operations of

 Bulk weighing scales,

 Equipment control boards,

 Barge marine leg,

 Vessel loading tower,

 Conveyor belts and drags,

 Automatic shovels,

 Rolling stock (tractors, loaders, forklifts, etc).

 Capable and willing to perform manual  labor, clean-up, painting, and minor repairs using basic hand tools when operator(s) positions are not active.

• Cleaning and general housekeeping

• Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures including but not limited to confined space entry procedures and permits, lock out tag out procedures and fall protection procedures

Additional Responsibilities

• Painting and minor repairs using basic hand tools

• May also serve as escort for contractors during construction

• Assist contractors during construction phase.
