Your Role at Baxter

As a Tenders and Commercial Ops Spec, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence to participate and complete Tenders in Costa Rica.

What you'll be doing

This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.

• Foster a culture of compliance with ethical business practices and standards within the organization.
• Drive the implementation of the ethics and compliance program and prevent, detect, and correct violations of the law, Baxter policies, and code of conduct.
• Implement Baxter's code of conduct, policies, and procedures, including, but not limited to, the Global Interactions Policy and Third-Party Policy, and support these processes, ensuring employee onboarding and training.
• Identify Baxter's compliance and legal risks in the country/cluster.
• Lead proactive monitoring of procurement platforms to ensure early identification of strategic opportunities.
• Coordinate go/no-go evaluations integrating cross-functional input on risk, feasibility, and profitability.
• Manage the full tender lifecycle ensuring traceability, documentation control, and achievement compliance.
• Identify and mitigate technical, regulatory, and commercial risks within tender requirements.
• Coordinate validation and submission of legal, technical, and financial documentation.
• Ensure timely and compliant bid submissions safeguarding revenue opportunities.
• Maintain centralized database of events, results, and competitive insights.
• Support post-award activities and contract readiness.
• Lead coordination of the monthly sales closing process ensuring data integrity.
• Own and continuously improve the commercial forecasting process.
• Facilitate regular alignment meetings with Sales to review performance and adjust projections.
• Analyze demand patterns, historical consumption, and inventory levels.
• Develop executive dashboards and performance insights.
• Support pricing adjustments and revenue simulations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• Act as a central coordination point between Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Regulatory teams.
• Promote operational rigor and continuous improvement practices.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree ideal or similar experience
• 4+ years of experience in Tenders or Bids for Costa Rican region
• Advanced English is nice to have
