The Spirituality and Service team reaches the heart of our global alumni outreach, providing daily inspiration and opportunities to pray and serve others. We are seeking a mission-driven, detail-oriented, and compassionate individual to support our team’s work.
This is a key role that primarily holds the following responsibilities:
FaithND Grotto Prayer Program
In conjunction with the Service and Grotto Prayer Program Director, execute the Grotto Prayer Program. This includes helping write personal responses to prayers submitted through faith.nd.edu website, ensuring that these intentions are offered by volunteers at the Grotto, and replacing the green votive candle weekly.
Email Responses
Monitor and respond to messages in the [email protected] email account. Include other members of the spirituality outreach in correspondence as needed.
Other Spirituality and Service Programming
Assist with other engagement offerings such as quarterly Grotto Prayer Services, various Masses and rosary videos, the Chuck and Joan Lennon Gospel of Life Initiative, Family Volunteer Camp, and more.
Strong applicants would have experience in office environments and faith-based work. A commitment to the mission of the University, specifically the spirituality and service outreach of the Notre Dame Alumni Association will be important.
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organized
• Demonstrated success in mission-oriented work
• Schedule: Monday - Friday with some flexibility given limited hours schedule. Beginning with 18-20 hours per week for a total of 900 hours annually with some hybrid work available
• Hourly Rate: Up to $25 per hour
