ROLE SUMMARY:

El Colegio Británico in Madrid is seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join our Secondary School team. The successful candidate will teach Science within the British curriculum and contribute positively to a collaborative and international school environment.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE level)

Potential to teach a specialist science subject depending on experience

Full-time position within a well-established British school

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons in line with the British curriculum

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning

Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events

Requisitos
Requisitos: Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent)

Degree in Science or a related subject

Experience teaching Secondary Science within the British curriculum

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Legal right to work in Spain (or willingness to obtain it)

Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
